”Your PC/Device needs to be repaired” and ”Error code 0xc0000098” is showed on the screen during start up. What should i do?

Sounds like you BCD has either been corrupted or deleted. This can be repaired with a Windows installation USB or if the recovery envirement is still in tact you could use that.  Either way you will need to open a command prompt and run a few commands.

 

Boot from a Windows Recovery Media...

TroubleShoot -> Advanced Options -> Command Prompt

bootrec /scanos

bootrec /rebuildbcd

bootrec /fixmbr

bootrec /fixboot

 

If these commands do not work i would consider running a Hard Drive test to see if the hard drive in your machine is failing.
