probook 430 g2
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

hi everyone

i've purchased a probook 430 g2 second hand but i'm not able to restore os. following instructions F11, doesn't appear but partition is still present.

old owner installed windows 10 so i think this is the problem.

what i'm going to ask you is if there's a way to recover it or maybe if there's the possibility ( obviously paying ) to have dvd directly from HP

thanks a lot and have a good day

Jack 😉

OK. It is a second-hand notebook.

If the recovery partition is not present and pressing F11 does not invoke the HP recovery manager, you will have to locate recovery media.

If the notebook is more than three years old, HP no longer stocks and sells the recovery media.

If you live in the US

Try http://www.computersurgeons.com/

If they have it, the price will be quite reasonable.

If in Europe
