I am selling my laptop and I want to factory reset it.  I also do not remember the password.  I went through the steps using the f11 process and I’ve come to a point where a lack screen with a blue box is asking do I want to clear TPM.  I want to reset to factory settings so do I accept or reject this proceedure?

@ShannonRose77 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are unable to perform the factory reset. It is asking for clear TPM.

Unplug the device and turn it off. When off, press and hold power, volume +, and volume - for about 5 seconds. That will initiate a bios reload and when done the normal reset procedure for windows 10 will continue.

Then try to perform the recovery.
