Microsoft Windows 11

HI,

I bought a brand new HP laptop few months ago that cost me 1200 CAD. (HP Laptop 15-dy5xxx, 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1255U, total memory : 16GB)  . Right away I bought Mcafee to protect it. Since the beginning, it starts to make unbearable noises coming from the fan. The fan is bizarre, it runs constantly in a very high speed.  in the meantime, the computer became slow and inconsistent in navigating…

What is funny, the fan run in the middle in the night and sometime wakes me up as my computer is left in my bedroom in sleep state !!!!!!

I chated with : HP, then with MICROSOFT, then with McAfee. And none of them could help to resolve the issue. Finally HP asked me to pay extra many to subusribe to a kind of HP conversation called Smart or friend something….. I forgot the name but I called them and they want me to pay monthly fees before even trying to verify if the issue can be resolve. What a shame !! Waste of time…

Did I took the worst step in my life by buying an hp laptop after been loyal to the very respectable and the most reliable  brand, the Macbook pro for over 12 years ?

Please give me advice before I throw this garbage away from me.

May be It is worth to pay much more extra and go back to Macbook I guess.
