Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Help needed with fingerprint reader not working, Windows a hello has no option for fingerprint, device manager does not list biometric device any more.... Reset pc then the reader stopped working. ANY HELP APPRECIATED

HP Elitbook 850 G1 is a series of many models/products with many different configurations/options and  Fingerprint reader is an option.

 

Now, my question is: does your machine have Fingerprint reader or simply a small window but NO sensor/reader underneath ?  Please check your invoice to see does it have this option ?

Thank you BH for the reply, yes the reader works as it was working before i reset the laptop, i have tried updating drivers but there is no biometric listed there...

Yes it has the sensor, as i was using it to sign in, i am so frustrated, someone PLZ HELP!!!!
