Product: HP Pavilion 17 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a problem which I'm sure that you can help with.  When I display my device manager window, under firmware I am seeing "Acer Inc. System Firmware 1.09". I find this very strange on an HP Pavillion laptop.

 

Can you please advise :

1. From where can I update the firmware? I tried with the HP support assistant but the system found no issues.

2. Is it ok if I uninstalled the device fro the Device Manager and then scan for drivers or will this compromise my laptop?

Did you install anything from Acer to your machine ?
