HP SPECTRE x360 - 13-4103dx (energy star)

I try to boot the computer without the AC adapter, it wont turn on.  I try it with the AC adapter, it turns on, but the F5 key is lit up, and the caps lock light blinks 5 times, then 3 quick times.  Sometimes it will boot up normally, then I'll try an application and it immediatly freezes. Not exactly sure what the issue is.  I have tried removing the battery and booting without it, to no avail.

Hi @Tombrennan93.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Try the following:

POWER DRAIN:

Please disconnect all the devices and cables connected to your computer including the power cable and then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds and connect the power cable back again and try to power on the computer.

CBR:

Press windows key and then followed by the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows+B for 3-4 seconds more.

If the above steps do not work, then it could be a hardware issue. This might require one on one interaction to fix the issue.

I've sent you a private message with further instructions. In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
