Hi usmanaziza,
I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial notebook. You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/ .
I hope this helps.

Hello HP Forum,
I have purchased for myself and my son for Christmas 2 used HP EliteBook 6930p laptops on Ebay Kleinanzeigen Online Market from a Private Seller, both without hard drives.
I was very frustrated, when I realized which, they are both laptops protected with a bios admin passwords.
The seller told me that he does not know the passwords, And because the purchase of private, I can not give it back.
I'm so sad because my son was very happy for this Gift to Christmas, and now this Dissaster.
Sorry for my bad english because is all translated whith google translator, I speak normally German.
Please help me.
I spent days an days…. searching the internet for a solution, but all I found is beyond my computer skills.
someone told me that the HP support has a Master Password for unlock the Password in this cases.
I call the HP Support, and I give all the Data to the support Lady on the Phone. She told me that there is no master password, and that I would get an email from HP support with a link to a guidance video, however, I would have previously send her a copy of my identity card.
Sorry but this is to much for me, this go too far in my personal privacy. I'm also not go in a shop to buy something, and the seller ask me for my identity card.
I'm not a thief, and the salesperson was very reliable.
I have the two laptops now already 4 weeks are here, and for 4 weeks, I am looking for someone to help me to resett this Passwords. But I can not find anyone, and I'm not in a financial position to Pay 100 Euro for a IT Pro, they can resett the passwords for me.
I have not yet purchased hard drives, because I do not even know how the boot sequence is, in the worst case can my son and I did not even install a Windows OS.
That's why I still have no money spent for 2 hard drives, until now.
Please please help me. I'm really frustrated, my son (he is 13 years old) wants for so long time a notebook, and for me it would be more comfortable with the notebook as with my desktop PC.
But in this state, the notebooks are useless for me.
And I had researched and read that this model is a good notebook, and very robust. I could not have known that it was business notebooks, and that they are locked by Bios Administrator password. And that it would be so difficult these passwords reset.
So please please can you help me to reset these passwords, so that I, as a layperson, can make it ?
I know myself a bit of with hardware, and I can install windows with drivers and programs.
Kind Regards
Isa
