ok.

#1) SFC - Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

#2) WindowsUpdateDiagnostic - Got an error that 'Windows Online Troubleshooting Service is not enabled for this version of windows.'

#3) DISM ScanHealth - No component store corruption detected.

#4) DISM CheckHealth - No component store corruption detected.

#5) DISM RestoreHeath - The restore operation completes successfully.

So the only one that gave me any error was WindowsUpdateDiagnotic. Perhaps it's incompatible with windows 11 22h2?

Hello @Amanda_W-93

(1) Please check <Windows integrity> Part 2

Open cmd.exe (right click) as administrator and execute:

chkdsk /f c:

( Answer question with Y=Yes )

(2Restart Windows and let chkdsk do the work at startup

Ok, I ran ChkDsk. It ran for a very few minutes, 5 or less, so I can only assume there wasn't much to repair if anything. I don't know it if matters but instead of me manually restarting my PC, it crashed. I had wanted to get some things done on it before the restart so I didn't restart immediately after scheduling ChkDsk.

Just to be safe I reran ChkDsk, restarting properly this time. Same quickness.

Hello @Amanda_W-93

(1) What time did the crash occur? Check the event log to see if any error messages were logged previously.

So my PC has crashed 4 times today. The first time was @ 12:09 AM, the second @ 2:26 PM, the third @ 10:45 PM, and the fourth @ 10:57 PM. I see about 7 Kernel-EventTracing 'Errors'. They are all the same and 4 of them occur at the same times as each of the crashes. It reads:

"Session "ReadyBoot" stopped due to the following error: 0xC0000188"

I also see 3 additional WHEA-Logger 'Errors' occurred during the 2:26 PM, 10:45PM, & 10:57 PM crashes. It reads:

"A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core

Error Source: Machine Check Exception

Error Type: Internal Unclassified Error

Processor APIC ID:" The number here varied one each one. 0, 1, & 2

"The details view of this entry contains further information."

I see 2 "SearchHost.exe version 622.33201.0.0 stopped interacting with windows and was closed." that happened at the same time as the last two crashes.

I see several ModernDeployment-Diagnostics-Provider 'Error' that read:

Autopilot.dll WIL error was reported.

HRESULT: 0x80070491

File: onecoreuap/admin/moderndeployment/autopilot/dll/dllmain.cpp, line 128

message: NULL"

These have hit on each of the crash times but I'm seeing a lot of them in between. These are the main ones I see that don't mention the RST service that I had mentioned in my main post.

Darn. I was really hoping it wouldn't come to a re-install. I don't have a bootable USB with 32 GB+ of storage at present. I'll have to wait till I have enough money to buy one I suppose. But is it really my last/only option?

Yes, this is the last option.

Borrow a 32GB USB flash drive from a friend/neighbor/acquaintance.

Kind regards

Seems USBs are cheaper than I thought so I was able to afford one after all. Since this'll most likely take several hours, if not the whole day, I'll wait till my next day off to do the re-install.
