Ostaessani koneeni, siinä oli kaksi grafiikkakorttia: Microsoftin perusnäyttösovitin ja toisena AMD Radeon R7 M440 näyttösovitin. Järjestelmä oli Windows 10 Home. Halusin kokeilla Microsoftin tarjoamaa Windows 11 käyttöjärjestelmää ja päivitin järjestelmäni siihen. Windows 11 tuntui hankalalta käyttää ja vaikka eri asetusten haku vaikeaa. Tulin katsoneeksi mm. näyttösovittimia. Aiemmat sovittimet olivat laitehallinnassa muuttuneet Intel(R) UHD Graphics ja Radeon 530 Series sovittimiksi. En siis pitänyt Windows 11 järjestelmästä ja niinpä palautin aiemman Windows 10 Home järjestelmän koneeseeni. Laitehallinnasta katsoin olisiko myös näyttösovittimet muuttuneet takaisin aiemmiksi. Eivät olleet. Onko nyt niin, että grafiikkakortti ja näyttösovitin ovat kaksi eri asiaa? Että grafiikkakortti on fyysinen laite ja näyttösovitin on ohjelma, joka on kortilla. Jos näyttösovitin on pelkkä ohjelma, niin onko nykyiset (Intel(R) UHD Graphics ja Radeon 530 Series) parempia kuin entiset (Microsoftin perusnäyttösovitin ja toisena AMD Radeon R7 M440) ja kuinka tehokkaat ohjelmat tälle kortille voi päivittää?

Your notebook must have the Intel HD and AMD switchable graphics adapters.

If you originally has an AMD Radeon R7 M440 graphics adapter and a Microsoft Basic Display adapter listed under Windows 10, the Intel graphics driver was never installed for some reason.

They are both physical graphics adapters.

With the switchable graphics adapter configuration, the notebook automatically decides which graphics adapter to use based on the video demand placed on the graphics adapter.

For example with web surfing and checking e-mails, the notebook uses the Intel UHD graphics adapter.

When you play video games or do graphic designing, photoshop, etc, and the demand is too much for the Intel graphics adapter, the notebook automatically switches to the more powerful AMD graphics adapter.

What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?

valitettavasti en voi käyttää englantia asiani esittämiseen. Koneeni on HP Laptop 14-ck2853no ja tuotenumero on 9HH68EA#UUW. Kuten tulikin jo esille, ostaessani koneeni, siinä oli AMD Radeon R7 M440 graphics adapter and a Microsoft Basic Display adapter. Näyttösovittimia ei missään vaiheessa fyysisesti vaihdettu, vain Windows 11 asennus ja sitten palautus Windows 10 Home käyttöjärjestelmään. Latasin ja asensin koneelleni HP Support Assistant-ohjelman, joka myös näyttää videosovittimien muuttuneen Radeon 530 series ja Intel(R) UHD Graphics näyttösovittimiksi. Kaikki on ok, jos tämä ei haittaa eikä hidasta konettani. Jos nämä ovat ohjelmia, niin kuinka tehokkaiksi nämä voi päivittää? Voiko järjestelmän BIOSia päivittää, on tällä hetkellä Support Assistantin mukaan F.63?

There is nothing wrong with your PC.

Somehow I believe that incorrect drivers were installed by the factory, because the product specs for your notebook indicate it comes with the AMD Radeon 530 Graphics adapter and the other GPU is Intel HD.

You get a Microsoft Basic Display adapter when the graphics driver is not installed, and that is not good.

So, your notebook should be running better as it is configured now, not worse.

Yes, if you want to update the BIOS to F.63, that would be fine.
