Dear,
A few weeks ago my the Hard Drive Disk crashed, it was not possible to repair the HDD, so I ordered a new HDD.
I thought I was able to download and install Windows 7 on the new HDD with the product on the back of my laptop, however when I try to download it from the Microsoft website I receive a message saying there is a problem with the validation request. Upon further research this is only able for retail versions, not pre-installed versions.
So how do I now get Windows 7 on my laptop?
Product: HP Notebook 4530S
Serial: CNU1263BN9
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (x64)
If I need to provide any more information please let me know.
Kind regards,
Mayuur

Hi:
You will have to contact HP in the country you live in and order a set of recovery disks for your notebook.
Have the serial number handy to give to the customer services rep.

Since you have a business-class notebook, contact the business support section.
