Product: HP 14 inch Laptop PC 14-ep2000 (B31THAV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Recently I was installing the most recent Microsoft updates. When my laptop rebooted, my OS was “gone”. The recovery partition is empty. 

What should be my next step? I’d hate to lose all of my files, is there anything I can do?

What does it say? No bootable device? You see HP logo?
