Check if you able to boot into safe mode. Check if you can boot into safe mode. Enter Safe Mode through recovery:

  • Turn on the laptop:
  • When the HP logo or Windows loading screen appears, hold the power button for about 10 seconds to shut it off.
Repeat this forced shutdown two or three times.
  • Windows should show Automatic Repair.
  • Select Advanced options > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
  • Press 4 or F4 for Safe Mode of Press 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with Networking.

Let me know if you able to get there and laptop shows normal desktop. No black screen

Yes my laptop shows normal screen after using safe mode option but there is a pop which says unknown hard error and when I click on that my screen again goes blank….what should I do now?

That's good. First I suggest you to boot into safe mode again, then backup your important files, documents, etc in external USB, drive or phone. Just for worst case.  Also, disable startup apps from task manager while in safe mode as they may causing more load on drive.

Now, in safe mode try System Restore first.

  1. Boot into Safe Mode.
  2. Press Win + R, type rstrui.exe, and press Enter.
  3. Select Next.
  4. Choose a restore point dated before the unknown hard error and blank-screen problem began. Select Show more restore points if necessary.
  5. Click Scan for affected programs, then Next → Finish.
  6. Allow the laptop to restart and complete the restore.

System Restore normally affects Windows system files, drivers, settings, and recently installed programs, not personal documents. It will show affect apps while doing it like mentioned above.
