HP 15s-fq2026nq (2L9X7EA)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed Windows 20H2 on brand new HP 15s-fq2026nq, but the problem is drivers, because they didn't install correctly:

- on the drivers page is Intel WLAN Driver, but on the laptop cover is showing RTL8821CE, so even these drivers for Realtek doesn't install

- there is many unrecognized devices

- only video drivers installed corectlly

I don't know where to search for drivers? Wireless doesn't work, so no way to let Windows check for correct drivers.

HP says it's tested for 20H2?

OK:

Try this version of the chipset driver for the 1st five and restart the PC.

Hi:

if your notebook has the Realtek  RTL8821CE wifi adapter, here are the links to the latest wifi and Bluetooth drivers for it.

Wifi:  2024.0.10.220

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp111001-111500/sp111389.exe

Bluetooth:  1.8.1030.3010

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp110001-110500/sp110200.exe

You are on the right support page for your notebook, which only shows the Intel wifi adapter driver.

If you post the hardware ID's for the unrecognized devices, I'll see if I can help you find the right drivers for those.

You're very welcome.

Most of those devices can be installed by the Intel chipset installation utility.

Restart the PC after installing the driver.

After you install the above drivers, please let me know if any of them didn't get installed, post the hardware ID's for those and I will go back to the drawing board.

Here's a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file that shows driver support for the remaining hardware ID.
