Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

I mainly refurbish Win98/2K/XP desktops and towers but occasionally get laptops and newer stuff. I have an HP 2000-2d19WM that was booting weirdly, so I ran the Win8 reset. (There’s a sticker on the bottom that shows this to be a native Win8 machine.) After 7 or 8 hours, it was done, so I went through the setup screens. When that finished, I tried making recovery media using the standard HP application. I got an error message that the recovery partition had been deleted. But I had verified that it was there before attempting the media creation. Afterward, I even checked and some of the stuff in 😧 is dated 2013, so that should be the OEM stuff. Is there anything I can do to make a set of discs or a USB drive?

Hi @SVJeff,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

I see that you are facing operating system issues with your HP 2000-2d19WM Notebook PC.

I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this weblink: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/service-center
Note: Select your country from the dropdown,  enter the city or postal code, select the product, change the radius, and click on search to locate the nearest HP Service center near your location.

Hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
