I'm having the exact same issue with several of my HP ProBook 440 G9s. I disabled DMA protections in the BIOS on one of the devices and the user reported having the same problem. I'm watching posts here and I can disable one of the Virtualization Technology options but the other (VTx) is also disabled. It does say "VTx cannot be disable while Virtualization based BIOS Protection is enabled but I can't seem to find that particular setting.

We are seeing the same problem across our users G9 laptops. We have users using the HP G8 with no issues at all. Windbg typically comes up with the same problem with is ntkrnlmp.exe. We have tried to roll back drivers and have taken note of drivers versions and dates and compared them against ones that have not blue screened but have not found any thing in common. We suspected it was the wifi/bluetooth driver for realtek since all users are on wifi when it happens. We have started to focus on the HP LAN/Wlan/WWAN switching and hotkey service since most users report it happening when moving around. My test machine is on bios version HP U85 ver. 01.13.00, released on November 22, 2024. there is no windows/hp updates available
