HP BIOS Can't Update

Hi everyone. My HP Laptop's BIOS can't update. When I opened WinFlash.exe, it wasn't opening. But it is running from Task Manager named: HP Flash Utility. Please help me.

Let me check your basic system configuration.

(1) Run    msinfo32

- Select <System Summary>:

--->>> Copy/screenshot/paste following key/value pairs:

OS Name

Version

System Model

System SKU ( equals HP product number (p/n) )

Processor

BIOS Version/Date

(1) Create Windows system <restore point>

(2) Download and install BIOS Update

(3) Reboot

(4) Let BIOS be installed until it's completely done !

(5) Test your notebook

(6) Please report your results

I downloaded BIOS Update and I running .exe file. After it saying extracting WinFlash.exe, it's closing and it isn't open anything on my screen. I restarted my PC and it's opened normally. There isn't BIOS Update screen.

I tried this method. But HP BIOS Update and Recovery program didn't open in my PC.

facing same issue downloaded latest bios not it is not installing, nothing happened.

Hey, I have the same problem. I downloaded the compatible bios update exe from hp drivers page and when I double clicked it there was a window popup which extracted something in the '  C ' drive and then nothing happened, there was no other window popup or on screen instructions for the further process and didn't prompt me to restart the machine. 

After a research I figured out that it was because of the bitlocker. I would suggest you to disable/suspend the bitlocker before running the update executable.
