@Jerry_57 If you believe I’m missing something, I’d encourage you to install the same utility you recommended, use my S/N 9RU01UA#ABA, and attempt to download the ISO.

When it fails for you as well, perhaps you can get HP to move that file out of AWS’s DEEP_ARCHIVE so both of us can access it.

Hi @Crbake4,

Thank you for your response.

Kindly check with the 2nd option:

2. Media Creation Tool:

Download Windows 11

Do let us know how it goes.

Laptop was shipped with Windows 10. How do I register Windows 11? That’s why I wanted the OEM restore. Why can’t this be made available? Feels like we are beating around the bush and not addressing the actual issue here…

Hi @Crbake4,

Thank you for sharing the details.

I am sorry, we have shared you Windows 11 link instead of Windows 10.

Kindly click on the link below for Windows 10:

Download Windows 10

Do let us know how it goes.

This entire experience has been an unacceptable waste of ten days. My request was straightforward: provide a recovery ISO for a five‑year‑old product. That is a reasonable expectation for any company that claims to support its customers. Instead, every response I’ve received has avoided the actual issue and offered no real solution.

I’ve been an HP printer customer since 1994 and an HP computer customer since 1997. After decades of loyalty, this interaction has made one thing absolutely clear: I can no longer trust HP to stand behind its products. I will not be purchasing another HP product again.

Close or purge this thread, frankly, that’s likely in HP’s best interest, but do not mark it as resolved. This will be my final post. If the option exists, I will be unregistering my account and will no longer have access to respond.

Hi @Crbake4,

Thank you for your response.

I understand you are looking for an ISO image of the OS.

We have shared the ISO image in the form of a link:

Download Windows 10

I think you are looking for a recovery CD.

We have sent you a private message for the process.
