We've had this computer (HP 15-F387WM) for 2 years and have NEVER been able to run HP Cloud Recovery Tool successfully on it. 'Virtual Assistant' wants to help with only WIN7 & 8! or 'How to create a Restore Point in Win10' - duh!. NOTHING about HP Cloud Recovery Tool.

+ Apparently you are supposed to only use 'HP Recovery Manger' (with THIS model laptop) to create media to 'Restore To Factory State'. However, when we try this, it tells us 'You can only create ONE Recovery Media' - [DEAD END]. SO - IF you accidentally step on your USB Recovery thumb-drive, misplace it, or it becomes radiated and can't use it - YOU CAN"T CREATE ANOTHER to restore your system to a clean image. What a let down.

[Only ONE recovery media per purchase please?]

Hi

If you want to make a Recovery/Rebuild/Repair/Re-Install  USB then go ahead and make one.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

HP 15-F387WM  at two years old?

If you used F11 it would install W10-1703?   Then you would wait another 4 hours/days for the updates to 1903.

has

HP Recovery Manager Update

18.10 Rev.A 1.3 MB Jul 17, 2017 Download

and 38 other drivers/updates.

So you can create a DVD/USB to install an OS on a new hard drive.
