There is no advanced option in those consumer class notebooks.

Usually the recovery images are model specific which is why they don't work on even similar models.

However, I did not want to discourage you from trying.

Your only option would be to use the info I posted to clean install W8.1 on the 17-k153nr.

PC manufacturers divide their PC's into two classes...business class and consumer class.

The ENVY 17- k153nr is a consumer class notebook.

They are built to different specifications than the business class models.

You will generally pay more for a business class notebook even if it has the same processor specs and whatnot.
