Sorry...I do not see any other driver other than the following:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp45001-45500/sp45228.exe

 

It is working for most but not sure why it is not working here...

I am an HP employee.

I'm afraid neither of the two softpaqs worked. I uninstalled the LSI HDA Modem and deleted drivers as provided by uninstaller in device manager, search for new HW and it now shows "Agere Systems HDA Modem" but with still yellow error.

See Hardware ID: HDAUDIO\FUNC_02&VEN_11C1&DEV_1040&SUBSYS_103C1378&REV_1002

Hello Vidya,

 

Could you once again check the link to the Base System Device driver, I get error 404 (not found) when I click on this link.

I guess the location might have changed since 2014.
