Greetings!

 

  8770w is the great machine and I want to use its fingerprint sensor in Windows 10 Hello Fingerprint sign-in option.

  However I have discovered that many drivers are not available for Windows 10, for example fingerprint sensor driver.
  HP does not provide W10 drivers on https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers.

  Currently Device Manager shows the following Biometric device in the list:

Can you share experience with setting the sensor up properly, please?

I recommend you see if installing the W10 HP SimplePass security software gets the fingerprint sensor to work since the driver is installed.
