My laptop refuses to turn on. Whne I press thepower button, nothing happens. The only functioning light is the charging light. The last time the computer was on, I had about forty percent of charge left. I haven't dropped the laptop or spilled anything on it. I updated the BIOS about a week ago, but experienced no problems. The laptop just turned off on its own and now won't turn on. This has happened once previously and when I sent it in for repair, nearly every internal part including the hard drive, motherboard and RAM were replaced.

Hello and thank you for posting on the HP support forum. Lets see what we can do about your No Power No Boot issue.
First thing you should try is a hard reset.
Performing a Hard Reset or Forced Reset
If this doesnt help there is another link for you to check out.
HP Notebook PCs - Troubleshooting LED Blink Codes or Beep Codes During Startup or Boot
You can also start off with doing a systematic tear down of memory and hard drive. By removing them and then trying to boot you can see if the system sets off a beep code or flash code. If they do then one of the parts removed is a possible problem or the point where it connects to the Motherboard.
Here is a link to your maintenance guide to help you with your removal or RAM, Harddrive, Wireless Card. Only parts that are connected to the motherboard.
HP ENVY 15 Maintenance and Service Guide.
If the problem doesnt change at all you are looking at a repair. if that is the case you should contact phone support.

Hey there,
I had the same problem which I resolved. Here is what worked for me.
I first removed the back of the laptop, removed the main battery. I held the power button for 15 seconds. I put the battery back in and tried to turn it on which didnt work.
I then tried removing both the main battery and secondary smaller circular battery (about the size of coin). I held down the power for about 15 seconds, then connected both batteries up again, plugged the laptop back in and turned it on and it worked!!
Sorry I can't be more technical with my solution but this is what worked for me.
