Hi there,
I recently purchased a HP Envy X360 15 from Hong Kong with Windows 10 (1809) home, Chinese language, pre-installed, which I have upgraded to Windows Pro.
After performing a clean install of Windows 10 (1809) Pro English, I am not able to install 2 drivers,
- Intel Serial IO Driver (Windows 10 v1809) 30.100.1823.1 Rev.E Nov 9, 2018 2.3 MB sp92850.exe
- Intel Software Guard Extensions Device (SGX) Driver (Windows 10 v1809) 1.9.105.41752 Rev.C 4.3 MB Nov 16, 2018 sp92767.exe
1. What is the purpose of Intel IO Driver?
2. What is the purpose of Intel SGX driver?
3. How can i resolve the installation issues?
Thanks..

To be able to answer your questions, we need to know EXACTLY what is your machine and where you download drivers from ?

Its an HP Envy X360-15
Drivers are downloaded from HP support site

As you can see, the link has drivers for the whole series of 15-cn1000 (from 1000 to 1999) not just for your machine. Please READ Descriptions for each driver and also please note some drivers are NOT for your machine.
Regards.

Hi, @DK111
How do you know that they are required?
Do you see any devices listed under an Other Devices category in the device manager that have little ! marks next to them?
If you don't, then those drivers are not applicable to your specific model.
If you do, please post the hardware ID's for any devices that need drivers.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...
