I have an HP Envy x360 I'm trying to fix. Here is the sequence of events:

1. Unable to boot from SSD: shows Boot Device not found error

2. Tried Windows Recovery Media with fresh install: SSD is not detected as a drive.

3. Other diagnostic tools seem to suggest that the SSD doesn't even exist (Storage Test under F2 diagnostic tools doesn't find a drive)

4. Replaced SSD with same model: L71560-001

5. Windows Recovery Media actually works! SSD is detected and installation goes through

6. After installation, while running setup (Microsoft account, Windows Hello PIN), system flashes BSOD and immediately shuts off.

7. We are back to the beginning: WRM shows no SSD, diagnostics can't find an SSD.

I am beginning to think there is something seriously wrong with the board/BIOS but not sure where to go from here, and even if I knew what the issue was, how Id fix. Any help would be appreciated!
