HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 13m-bd0000 (172M9AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

My HP ENVY is stuck on a blue screen, not sure what to do. I held down the power button and nothing happened. There is also a buzzing noise now coming from the laptop.

It seems the only option is to let the battery drain and try turning it on once it shuts off? It's at full battery when this happened so it's going to be on for a while. What happened before hand was I was doing work, then the sreen stopped responding (my mouse froze) then after a few seconds of being frozen, it went into the error code blue screen. I saw the articles about holding down the power button from 4 seconds, 15 seconds and 60 seconds. Tried all those, but it's still on the blue screen. Its seems my laptop does not want to be forced to shut down. I also read about a "beats" button but I don't have one of those. I also tried holding down my F6 button with the power button for the designated times and still nothing. Also holding the power button and Microsoft button at the same time and nothing.

I'll keep you all updated. I Haven't had any scares with this laptop until now and I've had it for 3 years.

One last note, I attempted to charge the laptop while in the blue screen mode and when I plugged in cable into the laptop the orange light didn't pop up. Not sure if this helps with understanding the problem, but just thought it was weird. When the charger is plugged in, it normally displays either orange or green light. And it's not the outlet either.

Update: it's ya boi, the computer is back on for now. Had to let it die and now is charging and able to be used. Hoping on a teams call so lets see if anything happens!
