Hi @kalbairav

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for sharing the details clearly. Since the HP Laptop 17‑cp3035cl is not charging and the charging light indicator is not turning on, let’s go through recommended steps to isolate and resolve this:

Check the Power Adapter and Source

  • Ensure the adapter is firmly connected to both the laptop and the wall outlet.
  • If using a power strip, connect directly to the wall socket.
  • Verify the adapter is the correct HP model for your laptop.

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Disconnect the power adapter.
  • If the battery is removable, take it out.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15–20 seconds to discharge residual power.
  • Reinsert the battery (if removable) and reconnect the adapter.
  • Try powering on the laptop.

Inspect the Charging Port and Battery

  • Check the charging port for dust or debris and clean gently with a dry cloth.
  • If the battery is removable, inspect the contacts for damage or dust before reinserting.

Run HP Diagnose & Fix via HP App

  • If the laptop powers on after the reset, open the HP App.
  • Select Diagnose & Fix to automatically check hardware and power‑related issues.
  • Follow the guided steps provided by the tool.

Update BIOS and Drivers

  • Once powered on, visit HP’s official support page for your model.
  • Download and install the latest BIOS and drivers to ensure optimal power management.

If the Laptop Still Does Not Charge

  • Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.).
  • Attempt charging with only the adapter connected.
  • If there is still no response, the issue may be hardware‑related and will require service.

For detailed instructions, please refer to HP’s official guide here:

This guide provides step‑by‑step checks and visuals to help you through the process.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
