I got this computer from a friend who bought it from SPRINT, but it appears that there has been a BIOS password set that prevents me from booting the computer. The code given after the "Password check failed" is as follows:
[edited Serial Number by Moderator]
Is there anyone who can translate this code in to the unlock code?
Thanks in advance.

Pre try.
e9lo7x31a7
3rd letter lowercase L.
4th letter lowercase O.
Use that code to go into the BIOS.
Disable all passwords that are enabled.
If asked for the CURRENT password use that code.
If asked for NEW password just hit enter.
If asked to VERIFY password just hit enter.
Save and exit.
