Hey all, I'm having trouble with my friend's HP Omen 15 (2019). He was getting the laptop ready to sell by resetting windows 11 via system recovery when the laptop entered an endless loop of showing the Omen logo, then shutting off. It wont even prompt to enter any sort of BIOS/UEFI Settings. I've now got the ssd and hdd out to test and see if it was hardware failure, but I'm leaning towards a bad reset.
On a side note, how can one get the installation media for the Omen 15? I tried using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool and i get the error "Product ID does not match or is invalid. Please contact HP support."
Thanks in advance!

Hi @BoneYard01
The laptop model you indicate does not exist, check if it is this one.

You must first install windows 10 and then upgrade to windows 11 if you can download from Cloud Recovery, but unfortunately HP no longer offers all laptops that possibility, in this case you must download windows directly from Microsoft.
