Omen 17-an0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the above laptop and it constantly crashes when in use with the HTC Vive. I have tried the headset on another lower spec omen and also an MSI with no issues at all.

 

It has gone back to HP twice and they say there are no problems with it although they firstly replaced the motherboard but this has not resolved the issue. We have numerous videos showing it crashing whilst in use since it has come back to us but HP are not interested!  The customer service is shocking and they say nothing else can be done as their engineers say there is no problem which is beyond belief (and completely wrong as shown in the videos they haven't bothered to watch!)  We even took extra warranty when we purchased it which was a waste on money.

 

Has anyone else had to raise a formal complaint or had the same issue?  We will have to go to trading standards now but it would be nice to resolve this issue if we can.
