Pavilion 15–p002
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
The original HDD on HP Pavilion 15–p002 crashed and I got a new HDD. Since I don't have a copy of Windows 8.1 installation disc I am wondering if performing Minimized Image Recovery on the new HDD is possible. Please, help.

Did you make any recovery media from the old hard drive before it crashed? Minimized Image Recovery is generally done from the HP Recovery Program on the hard drive that has the program installed.

Thanks Huffer. No any Recovery Media made. I am really stucked here with new HDD without Windows 8.1 installation media.

Did you ever upgrade to Windows 10? If so, you can download it from Microsoft. HP likely still has recovery media available for it at a pretty nominal cost.
