Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

My laptop is plugged into the AC Adaptor and will charge, but once it reaches 76% I receive the message "plugged in, not charging." I tried uninstalling the "ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery" and restarting, however that did not solve the problem. I also ran a diagnosis of my battery and was only told the battery needs to be calibrated. Will that solve the problem or is something else going on? The battery will no longer fully charge. I have had this laptop for about 14 months.

Thank you!

Try battery calibration and check again, if it doesn't fix the problem check if you have a windows insider build is installed.

Thanks for your quick reply. Will battery calibration work if I am unable to charge my laptop to 100%?

Shut down your laptop and plug in the charger you can see charging led turned into red when it turns into white it means your battery is charged 100%

I ran the battery calibration and tested again, and the results said the battery is okay, but is showing it's charged at 82%. I have the same "plugged in, not charging message."
