HP ProBook x360 11 G1 EE
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We have 75 (probook x360 11 g1 EE)  that will not network boot.  We have checked in the BIOS and are unable to locate the legacy boot option on these laptops. Please assist and point us in the right direction. Thanks

Hello @ShirleyTech

Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting.

I use the very same PC using a loan PC program from HP and there is no "Legacy Mode" in this PC.

Because of this, you cannot use operating systems which does not support UEFI (such as Windows 7) - only Windows 8.1 or 10. Best would be Windows 10.

Network boot is supported for the same Windows versions and is available in the BIOS with 2 options:

- in the advanced settings you can enable Network boot

- change the boot order (F5/F6 to move up and down) to move the network boot on top

or  use  F9 during start to load the start up options

I have the same problem on the same type of PC!

There is no option to swich to the legacy mode.

Has anyone made any recent discovery on how to fix this problem?

Hi @NiclasP

Thank you for posting in the HP Support Forum.

No, nothing new here - this is by design.
