HP Recovery Manager

Hello there my laptop had to have its operating system reinstalled but after reinstalling vista i could not find the hp recovery manager it would not open when i clicked f11 on startup so any help would be appreciated

Hello, what util to you have used for reinstall your software?? If you reboot your PC, taping F11 at the HP logo, do you have access to the Recovery partition??

I used a Microsoft official windows vista home premium installation disc and I do not get access to the recovery partition buy taping f11 at startup

So you have maybe erase your HP Recovery partition..

Yes I can’t find an hp recovery partition

Hello, I think you have erase your recovery partition with your install media. But it is not a bug problem if your computer is working since your reinstallation..

Hello, I am sorry but your computer has more 10 years old, so it is ended support by HP and the download page is not accessible:

If you have missing drivers you can always try with HP Support Assistant, or directly use Windows Update:

ok thanks also i would like to tell you that i found the app but i keep on getting an error message saying the procedure entry point RtlGetPersistedStateLocation could not be located in the dynamic library ntdll.dll

Hello, do you have try to install HP Recovery Manager or Support Assistant?? If it is Recovery Manger it is giving you this error, I think you can'r reinstall it.
