HP Recommended

Same outcome as before. It seems to work up to a point but eventually the screen issue reappears. I did a factory reset so it wasn’t connected to the internet at any point

 

Initial steps are fine. It asks for the supplemental USB from HP which I skip.

 Then continue after the recovery preparation is complete. At this stage it says to have no external devices plugged in, so I removed the USB.

 Initial steps seem fine.

 The start of the software installation is fine.

 Then after one of the restarts, the screen issue reappears all the way until Cortana starts prompting for the setup.

Any idea what could be causing this?
