HP Support assistant wont upgrade BIOS just asks to copy file to hard drive or create USB drive but the BIOS upgrade grayed out?

HP firmware pack (Intel processors)  - under software and drivers history shows failed several times?

I think this could be due to compatibility issues or errors during previous attempts. You can try manually downloading the BIOS update from HP's official website and then installing it by following the instructions provided. And do make sure to choose the correct BIOS version for your specific model. Hope this will resolve the issue....

Strange thing is if I use the HP support assistant or the HP Diagnostics to check for BIOS update, it says BIOS up to date?

Think I will leave alone.

An obvious question arises here: I BIOS is already up to date and you try to update anyway, maybe this causes said problems?
