My HP 6460b has the 3F0 problem. It can't find a boot device.
I have tried solutions found on the Net; changing Legacy and that sort of thing, but I can't find Legacy in BIOS on my laptop.
So I tried a factory reset, but when I push the power button and ( appropiate ) f11 button nothing happens.
I'm really starting to hate this machine.
Now in order to safe a life ( i may throw the laptop out of the window and kill an innocent pedestrian ) could someone please lend a helping hand ?

Hello Banhien
I am afraid none of your suggestions were of any help.
I tried most of them anyway; long live Google and Youtube.
Then I did something I should have thought of when the problem first presented itself.
I dusted off its working clone. Yes, I have another one, just not in use.
I put them side-by-side and found that all BIOS settings matched except for one: uefi !
I switched it on ( or off I don´t remember ) and as far as I can tell things are back to normal ( for now at least )
I could have sworn that that uefi option wasn´t there earlier. Perhaps BIOS update did the trick.
Or I have just been more stupid than usual.
Thank you for reacting.
