HP spectre X2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My HP spectre X2 doesn't switch on. I opened a video file. And the laptop switched off by itself. It won't turn on. The caps lock button doesn't glow when trying to turn on. Nothing from the f6 button either. Only light is from the charging port.
Please help. I need to use the notebook urgently. I have to use it.

@Giriprasadh

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand the HP Spectre X2 isn't turning on anymore,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Did you perform a hard reset to release any excessive static?

Have you attempted a BIOS recovery?

While you respond to that, please attempt the below steps:

Perform a hard reset

Attempt a BIOS recovery

Run the System Diagnostics tests
