Has anyone else realized when updating Windows 10 on an hp stream, you have to set the paging file to a minimal amount, say only 200mb. Because the scream machine, oops, stream machines only have a 32gb emmc, Windows settings holds a large chunk of it in reserve for the paging file.
Yeah you still need the media creator on flash and a seperate 16 GB flash drive, but you need to minimize the page file to steal that space on the emmc drive. I also told the install of 1909 to hold off updates until after the 1909 base install. I did a ton of research on this and found nothing... But lots of people having the same issue as me.
This worked for me and gave that last 1.5 to 2gb that the 1909 install wanted.
I am currently finishing all the other updates to the 1909 upgrade. I am doing the update on the hp 14 stream for a friend. Hope this helps others with this stupid machine. Mark

@disable hibernation
Welcome to HP Support community.
Disable Hibernation:
- The first step is to run the command prompt as administrator. In Windows 10, right click on the start menu and click "Command Prompt (Admin)".
- Type in "powercfg.exe /h off" without the quotes and press enter.
- Exit the command prompt.
- Hibernation is now disabled.
I hope that helps.
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
