Periodically, windows installer --- msiexec.exe is running, and trying to launch the file HPSoftwareFramework.msi that is located in my local Temp folder in AppData, and under HPDIAGS. The command line is:

msiexec.exe /q /i C:\Users\ME\AppData\Local\Temp\HPDIAGS\Installers\CASL\HPSoftwareFramework.msi

It is simply resulting in the window that is attached in the picture: it's a MSI "help" window --- the actual HPSoftwareFramework.msi file is never run.

Yes, it's there ... I thought about just running it directly; but I haven't done that. (I believe I could just double-click it to run it!)

Yes you can. Give it a try.
