Hi:
Below is the report generated by the failure code you posted, minus your notebook's serial number...
| 0GDX9W-6R8A9H-PXJ2WJ-60D603 | OK | XXXXXXXXXX | 10/31/20 | 301 | Storage | Floppy Drive, Hard Drive, Memory Drive, Optical Drive, SCSI, Tape Drive | Hard Disk 1 SMART Hard Drive Detects Imminent Failure |
You will need to replace the drive, and reinstall the operating system.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03572829
After you replace the drive, you can reinstall W10 for free as follows...
After you replace the drive, using another Windows PC, you can make bootable W10 installation media using the media creation tool from the link below. You want to create the 64 bit installation media.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key' option.
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page, although I don't see any listed for W10, so you may have to try the W8.1 drivers for any devices that W10 does not install.
