I have a HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p178 (out or warranty)
prduct id K4D83EA#ABU
serial number [Personal Information Removed]
O/S is Win8.1
The hard disk has failed with a short DTS failure error = RSNDBV-7GLBJB-MFPV6K-60SW03
I need the recovery disks for reinstalling on new disk. How do I obtain them?
i've been able to recover most of the data from the drive but the owner (my wife) never made recovery disks.

Hi,
I'm guessing from the Model, that you live in the UK - if that's correct, you can order replacement recovery media from the HP Partner on the following link.
