Hp notebook 14-cf0013dx

Hi guys, I recently turned on my computer and it said I was having hard drive issues and recommended doing a hard drive quick test. Turns out my hard drive short DST check failed. Not really sure what to do next. I was told a repair disc was needed? Where can I purchase this? My warranty ran expired but I don’t mind paying, I need this fixed ASAP! My local computer store is shut down due to COVID19 but can I simply fix this myself or would I need to take it in? Thank you in advance for your guys’ help.

@Rq96_, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

The short Disk Self Test ( DST ) error would indicate that the Hard Drive is failing and needs to be replaced.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service/replacement options. Info on recovery media can be found on Obtaining PC Recovery USB Drives or Discs.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
