@m1s, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Laptop 15-fd0050n1 is stuck in an endless boot loop, here are the steps you can follow to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
Perform a Hard Reset
This helps clear any residual power and reset hardware connections.
- Turn off the laptop completely.
- Disconnect the AC adapter and remove any external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.).
- Press and hold the Power button for 15-20 seconds.
- Reconnect the AC adapter (leave external devices disconnected).
- Power on the laptop.
Boot into Recovery Mode
If the hard reset doesn’t work, try accessing Windows Recovery:
- Power on the laptop and immediately press the F11 key repeatedly (once per second) until the Choose an option screen appears.
- Select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Repair.
If Startup Repair doesn’t resolve the issue, return to the Advanced Options menu and try:
- System Restore (if you have restore points)
- Uninstall Updates (especially if the issue started after a Windows update)
Run HP Hardware Diagnostics
To check for hardware issues:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Press the Power button, then immediately press Esc repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
- Press F2 to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
- Run System Tests and Component Tests (especially memory and hard drive).
BIOS Recovery (if needed)
If the system doesn’t respond or F11 doesn’t work:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Press and hold Windows + B, then press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds.
- Release the Power button but continue holding Windows + B until the BIOS recovery screen appears.
Factory Reset (Last Resort)
If none of the above works and you can access recovery:
- Go to F11 > Troubleshoot > Reset this PC.
- Choose Keep my files or Remove everything depending on your preference.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
