Hi @Geezup13,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
To factory reset your HP TouchSmart 520 All-in-One PC, follow these steps carefully. This process will erase all personal files and restore the system to its original factory condition, so make sure to back up any important data first.
Method 1: Using HP Recovery Manager (if accessible)
- Turn off the computer.
- Turn it back on and immediately press the F11 key repeatedly (about once per second) until the Recovery Manager screen appears.
- In HP Recovery Manager, choose:
- System Recovery > Recover without backing up your files (or back up if needed).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset.
Method 2: From Windows (if it boots)
If your PC still boots into Windows:
- Click Start > Settings > Update & Security > Recovery.
- Under Reset this PC, click Get started.
- Choose Remove everything.
- Follow the prompts to reset the PC.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
