How do I track my stolen laptop?

Hello everyone my name is Michelle 

I need your help if anyone can help

today someone broke into my home & stole my laptop, I would like to track it down if it’s possible, if so how?

I am sorry about your issues.

Chances to find and track a lost or stolen computer device are very low.

• If your PC uses Windows 10 and
• If you used to login there via Microsoft online account / Microsoft connect acccount / email , and
• If your theif is stupid enough to not reinstall Windows and not change a couple of settings and then start the PC,

If you do not fall into the above category, just report to the authorities and hope they will be able to find/return it back to you.

Also, it's important now to change all your important passwords especially for online accounts such as social media, emails, government online services, e-banking, etc... to prevent future data loss. Use a known clean device to do so.
