Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Currently Windows is installed on the HDD of my laptop and I'm planning to install it on a new SSD. I want to format the HDD and delete all partitions (including the ~15 GB (if I'm not mistaken) HP recovery partition).

Is anything I'm going to delete actually important and how?

Hi:

What I suggest you do is to copy and paste the SWSetup folder to a portable hard drive.

That folder contains the driver and program installation files that came with your PC.

Then if there is anything you need beyond what can be found on your notebook's support page, most likely this folder will have the installation files.

The folder can be found in C:\SWSetup.

Sorry for lumping in. Actually, it is your decision, for me I'm using the following software

HP Sure Run may NOT available on your machine.
