You're very welcome.

You should be able to install W7 on that model.  Audio might be a problem, because I am not sure what IDT audio driver will work on your model.

Follow the guidance I posted above (Use USB 2 port to boot W7 installation media from, enable legacy mode/disable secure boot).

After you get W7 x64 installed, these should be the drivers you need.

Chipset:  Install this driver first and restart the PC.  Use the 2nd file on the webpage as that is also good for W7.

Graphics:  Scroll down the page, select the W7 x64 driver, install and restart the PC.

Audio:  See if this one works... IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio

Ethernet:   Download, unzip and run the setup application from the W7 driver at the link below...

Hi:

Please provide the full model number or product number of your PC.

The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.

Do not post the serial number.

If you are installing W7 via a USB flash drive, you have to plug it into one of the PC's USB 2 ports.

If you are installing it via a DVD and you made the DVD yourself, there is a problem with what you did.

When you make a W7 DVD you have to burn it at the slowest possible speed you can.

Also you have to go into the BIOS enable legacy mode and disable secure boot.

W7 is not compatible with secure boot.   See this link below for more info regarding the BIOS settings to change.

Hello Paul,

Many thanks for your suggestions.

I did all the steps as mentioned in your post and it works like a charm.

The windows 7 has been installed now with all the required drivers.

While installing Win7, the system was asking USB drivers, hence I used a software "Gigabite windows USB Installtor"  on my Win7 image on USB Flash drive after which laptop started installion of WIn7.

Thanks again.

Anytime.

Glad to have been of assistance.

I completely forgot about that excellent tool.

I used that for my W7 USB installer too, but I never had the need for it thus far.

I had it install all the features, even the NVME drivers.
