How to know my hp laptop is compatible with which windows os. I tried installing windows 7 but could not found drivers for Windows 7.

Your machine comes with FreeDOS 2.0 . Its specs

It has Intel Gen 8 processor which is Intel® Core™ i5-8250U (1.6 GHz base frequency, up to 3.4 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 6 MB cache, 4 cores)

 

You have no choice, only Windows 10 if you wish to run Windows. Vendors including HP won't write drivers for Gen 8 processors.
