Elitebook x360 830 g6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My g6 laptop has 256g ssd, and I want to upgrade to 512g myself.

After I installed the disk, how can I migrate data including os recovery partition to new ssd.

A windows 10 disc was shipped with laptop,  can I create a new recovery partition if migration is impossible.

Thanks.

Please try the following ways

   https://www.nucleustechnologies.com/blog/how-to-transfer-files-from-old-hard-drive-to-new-hard-drive...

The simplest way is to clone old HDD/SSD to new HDD/SSD.
